Red Flag Warning has expired, May 10, 2023. Please use caution if doing any outside burning and always make sure fires are completely extinguished and cold to the touch. Thank you for your cooperation.
Burn Permit Park County Ordinance
If you are a Park County Resident and have signed up for Code Red, you would have been alerted to a new ordinance regarding the Burn Permits on the evening of June 19. In short, residents are required to have a BURN PERMIT for ALL OUTDOOR BURNING and any permits obtained prior to June 3, 2019 are no longer valid. You must go to your local Fire District and obtain a new one outlining the new stipulations. There will be a $10.00 fee. I am posting the ordinance (8 pages) below and will be posting it on our Facebook Page today as well. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
